We are coming up to Wenatchee!

We are leaving on Thurs and staying probably until the following Wed. Of course the main reason we coming up is due to G'ma Teresa's funeral which will probably be on Sat. I don't have details yet but I hope to see everyone... working around Matt's family and their gatherings of course. But I am excited to be back home for Apple Blossom time. Hmmm all the YUMMMMMY FOOOD. My tummy is doing flips already!! hehe Thank you for all your prayers!!! Keep us lifted up during this time please. :) Thanks!!

G'ma Teresa

Today was G'ma Teresa's last morning. She passed away at 10:50 am. Please pray for the family members as they go through this time. Also pray that Matt and I will be able to make it up for the funeral. It is not yet set, but it will be tricky getting time off to go. Sense its not his parents/siblings, so its not as"important" by military standards.

My mission's itch has returned! :)

The church that I am currently going to.. Calvary Chapel Mtn. Home. is teaming up with Calvary Chapel Boise to go to India this next Nov. I don't have details yet but I am in contact with my pastor about it. C.C.B is working with Chapel Missions India. www.chapelmissions.org
So please pray that God will work out the details and all the little circumstances for this group to go help. And me too if that is what God wants :) Cause its what I want but God has the final say. :) If this doesn't work out then I will be praying about doing a Mission Builders trip sometime in Oct/Nov. time frame. I am hoping that I can get some of the A.F. wifes to come with and that God can open up missions to their lives. :) I am excited!!!!

Positive Change

Another good morning devotion. :) I am currently taking on this "Opportunity to change my heart from the inside out." It is hard but very rewarding at the same time. In the end it will help my marriage, family and friends relationships to be full of more Joy :) Woohoo!


Bear(endure, carry) one another's burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ(the messiah) and complete what is lacking(in your obedience to it). Galatians 6:2

Our happiness and joy are not dependent on whether or not other people do what we want them to do. We may never be able to influence anyone else to what we think is right. But with God's help, we can change ourselves to bring about the results we want in life. I have discovered that if I change in a positive way, and if it is a permanent and stable change, it almost always provokes change in the people around me. If you want your life to be different, ask God to show you how YOU need to change. Accept others for who they are, and see how God works in you to complete your joy.

In his word God has given us the tools we need to get through each new day. He has given us "The garment of Praise for the spirit of heaviness"( Isaiah 61:3). So, when you wake up in the morning, decide that no matter what happens, you will not be depressed today.
Put on the garment of praise first thing in the morning. Listen to worship music, read the Word, and renew your thoughts to bring them into line with what God says you are - righteous and blessed. You can think right, talk right and act right all day, if you spend time with God before trials come your way.

Michelle's mission trip to Guatemala! :)

I was thinking about what to write for my next blog entry. Sense it was about time to make another one :) hehe and I was talking to Michelle on skype tonight and then it came to me... i know pretty outrageous!
It is pretty cool that Michelle is in Guatemala not only cause the people need God, but also because the places she is going or has gone. I to have been there.. so we can truly share that culture and the experiences there. Here is a pic of her.. a pastors wife dressed her up.
Please pray for her and their team down there. They are all going through extreme pressures and weirdo temptations that all missionaries experience on the mission field. Due to the fact that the enemy does not want them there. The enemy knows their faults and that is his play ground in their lives. Whether it be trust, selfishness, forgiveness, mean words or actions, tempers, etc. We all face this to a degree. But when your on the mission field because you have trusted God no matter where he takes you or what he asks you to do, the spiritual warfare gets harder. Being away from family and familiar places makes you live by faith and to truly trust God with your life.
They will be in Guatemala for a few more weeks. And then they are going to Mexico to do more work there.

Girls night out!

Last night, my womans bible study group had our girls night out party up in Boise.
We went to the Texas Roadhouse or steak house.. not sure anymore. :) haha ( No I had nothing to drink). It was a mixture of "Katys farewell party", "End of our bible study book" and the revealing of our Secret Sisters. It was really fun, we all dressed up in spring dresses and of course the wind was blowing so we were all walking and holding on to your dresses at the same time! I found my self feeling anxious and I stopped to think for a second, like why am i feeling weirdo. It was because I was totally out of my confront zone.. wearing a dress. That was not for church.. hehe I was being a girly girl. haha Which I do want to act and behave more like a lady, and dress up a little more, look a little bit nicer ect. So this is a huge step for me. For those of you who know me.. I am totally a sweatshirt/jeans girl. haha Here are some pics of last night! :)

OO kindney stone kidney stone.... ooo ovarian cyst

I had my CT appointment yesterday and the nurse of my primary doc. called today and they said that one of my ureters is enlarged due to k. stone. So they are referring me out to see at urologist and we will take it from there.
Today I went in for my ultrasounds to check on my ovaries. The nurse that called me today was saying that they want me to go have another ultrasound to check out my ovarian cyst that showed up on my CT scan yesterday. haha All I have to say is at least I have good insurance that covers all these tests and so forth that I will be doing and have done already!!!! THANK YOU GOD!! I have not had to pay any money out of pocket for anything so far! And I am happy that these weirdo pains that I have been having, they are getting dwelt with and its not my imagination!!!! PHEW! :)
