Just checking in :)

Hey everyone! :) I hope your Easter's were great! Matt had to work until 2pm on Sunday. So I went to church and then went to go buy some Easter candy for Matt. I found some on base at the B.X. Then I raced over to where Matt parks his car and put candy all over the dash for him. He got home about an hour later with a smile on his face. I greeted him in my Sunday/Easter clothes and got some nice looks from my hubby. ;) hehe
That about covers Easter for us. Yesterday was a very interesting day. We found out that our truck needs a new transfer case! OUCH!! So we are trying to find out if the warranty covers it or not. At the moment we are still waiting to find out... Paying for a new transfer case right before we are going to be trading it in, doesn't sound like a good idea to me! So please pray that the warranty covers it!!! We got our taxes done yesterday as well. So that is nice to have off our backs....
Matt works wed and thurs, then is off for the "Weekend to Remember" conference this weekend! And as of now... our traveling to Wenatchee plans might change due to the truck.. but I will keep you posted. Well we love you all and hope that your families are well and happy!

I was sick as a dog yesterday!

I have no idea what it was that I was fighting but I am thinking it just might have been one of those 24 hour flu bugs. We are hoping that Matt doesn't get it.. but there is not much we can do now.. He did a great job of taking care of me. He did laundry, dishes, made food, went to the store, etc. So besides me being sick and not being able to hold down fluids, he had a pretty good, relaxing day for his day off. Now he is back to work today. I hope he gets Monday off cause thats when we were planning on doing taxes. The tax place on base takes walk-ins Monday and Friday. The rest of the days are for appointments. And they are booked up through the 12 of April.. Yikes! So any who, last night I was finally able to hold down water. Just little sips.. which was good .. at least keeping those sips down but I was so dehydrated that I was aching all over, from laying on the couch all day and throwing up 4 times. I had some anti- nausea pills left over from the first kidney stone appt. in early Feb. so we tried those, and I think they put me over the edge and up to the bathroom I went. We tried twice.. and that was the end of that.. I started drinking grape juice and 7 up. At least they don't taste bad coming up. Today I don't have any nausea thank goodness! I am just weak and light headed. Jadi keeps wanting to play, so I start playing with her and then I have to sit down cause I start getting woosy. :( ugghh But we got our Alaska Airline credit cards today :) Yeah! :) hehe

Kidney stone update

I went to the doc yesterday and did some blood test, urine tests, and set up a time to get another C.T. scan. for when I get back after the WA. visit. I don't think I have passed them, but they don't hurt as often or as bad. I think they have moved down to my bladder region cause once in a while I do get a sharp pain or two and its gone. They did the blood and urine tests to make sure my kidneys are functioning properly. And to make sure there is no infections going on from stones blocking urine from coming down the pipes. :) Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

Jadi got a kitty tree!!!

She is so excited about it!! I will be in the kitchen or something and all I hear is the sound of kitty feet doing a burn out on the hard wood floor. And then I turn to look at her, she is jumping and doing the kitty cliff hanger move, with wild ears! hehe Here are some pics of her playing and also doing her troll stance.

Mimzy :)

Our friends are out of town for the weekend and are letting us watch Mimzy for them. :) She is a black and white chihuahua. I think she is about 8 months old. We joke around and say that we get to take care of the dog that is on crack. :) hehe No she is very cute and loving, but has to be moving and licking everything, unless she is sleeping. hehe

Jadi just loves her. She runs around trying to get Mimzy to start running so she can chase her. They had us in tears the first night cause they were running around Matt's chair again and again and again and again. Not even joking! At least 30 times running around.. and Jadi started cutting across over Matt's lap, which was even funnier cause she never would do that before.. but she was trying to catch this little fast chihuahua!!hehe

We decided that the next dog we will get is a chihuahua cause then they cant jump over baby gates and Jadi loves them.. they are rats that bark and play. :) hehe She has kinda started doing the mommy thing with her. Mimzy uses the puppy pads so this is weirdo for Jadi.. I caught her trying to cover up Mimzy's pee spots.. like she does in her kitty litter box. So cute!! :)

The last few days..

I having nothing absolutely cool to write about but hey it might be interesting to you. :) hehe Friday night, some of the ladies from bible study decided to go to the theater on base. It only has one screen but it only costs $3.50 to get in. The snacks are cheep too. We saw 27 dresses. Matt and I had already seen it but it was good enough to go again and plus I wanted to hang out with the ladies more to get to know them. It went really well and they also found out where I live, so they will be able to find my house for bible study in a week. When they drove by to find my house, they were looking at everyones houses and saying " o we like those curtains, how cute" well they were so into it, they passed my house and kept going. A few min. later they came back and figured out that the house they liked the best was mine. :) heheh So we had a good laugh about that one. And they are excited to have bible study at my house. hehe.
Saterday after Matt got off work, we headed up to Boise to go see the Roadster show. It was really expensive getting in.. 9 bucks a person!! We walked around and took some pics that I think Gpa Bryant would really like and Dad as well. It was cool but not for 9 bucks.. yikes! o well.. :) Today we are going to a bbq at our friends house, they are leaving for Italy next month for 3 years or more. So this will be our last hang out before they leave. :(

hmmm coffee and AeroGarden

So I have started drinking coffee instead of tea. Because there is something in tea that helps make kidney stones. So I am really enjoying making coffee in the morning, especially after I go to the gym.. its like a treat for me. OOh and I can't drink it black but I have been able to use honey instead of sugar. So thats good.. yikes!!
Here is a picture of my AeroGarden, it has been doing really well.. but this morning I found some dill had been pushed around by a kiki smikki foot.. during the night. Jadi is so funny at night, its like it becomes a time of "kitty freedom". In the morning we find things in weird places, the kitchen drawers all pulled out or doors opened. We think its funny.. just as long as she doesn't eat bad stuff!

Date Day :)

We get to go to Boise and have our weekly date day today! So excited! :) Normally we go to a movie and dinner, then anywhere else that we need to go. Probably be going to Petco to return the shock collars. Matt is wanting to see the new Will Ferrell movie - Semi Pro. So that should be interesting :) hehe
We have started doing these Date Days once Matt got back from Qatar. They have been really nice, and good for us to do. It makes it so we focus on us and our relationship. Instead of letting it slip away...
Have a good day :)

Sunbathing is the best!

I love my new church!!!

I have started going to Calvary Chapel Mountain Home and I LOVE IT! Its not very big, which is nice in the sense that you will and can actually get a chance to get to know people in the church. That is one thing that I really liked about Denaye's church. It is very non threatening and extremely biblical. The worship is very moving and God led. I feel free to put my hands up and sing to my Lord with out feeling that there is eyes watching and judging me. The pastor is very funny and down to earth. He explains things so well that the word makes more sense and makes me want to dig in deeper! He understands what it means to be culture sensitive. He has done missions to at least India. So he has been in new cultures and speaks with experience. Understanding where the line is between being biblical and culture sensitive is really hard for some people to understand.. especially if they have not been in foreign country's. He was able to point it out and do it in a way that made sense and that I agreed with, from my own experiences. SOOO I am REALLY happy that I found this church, and I am looking forward to seeing where God leads me in serving this church and doing missions. :) YEAH!!!
